Huh? This does not look right. A chair that zips together? How can it hold a person’s weight?
According to the chair’s creator Igor Labonov, “Chair’s frame consist of two equal parts. Each part has two unflexible arc-elements connected with bending sections . In folded position these elements (each of two parts) have overlaying zones. So, in addition of flexible connecting elements, this chair has strong frame and will hold any person successfully.”
It won a much-deserved Red Dot design award. What do you think?
